Phase 1
In Phase 1 of our work, from our launch after the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks until now,
we have had significant positive impact.

Phase 2
We are raising funds for Phase 2 of our treatment programs. Israel Healing
Initiative is now entering its third year, and the response to our work has been
overwhelming. Survivors and soldiers have repeatedly asked us to be in Israel full
time.
Israel Healing Initiative worked with Israeli musician and Nova festival survivor Guy Ben Shimon.

Thanks to your support, we are now preparing to open our own center — a
dedicated clinic where this care can continue without interruption. Dr. Peter will be
moving to Israel to supervise the setup and oversee daily operations.
We are thrilled to share that a generous donor has offered a $60,000
matching fund. Every dollar you give will be doubled — up to $60,000 —
to help launch the clinic.
Our work will continue with the communities carrying the greatest burden:
IDF soldiers, hostages and their families, Nova survivors, families in the
southern kibbutzim attacked by Hamas.
To meet the demand, we will be training and hiring medical providers so
this work can scale across the country. Funding for this training and
staffing is essential to opening the clinic and sustaining care.

people hope, based on scientific research related to trauma.
