Board of Directors
Orli Peter, Ph.D.

Chief Executive Officer
​​Dr. Orli Peter, Ph.D. is a clinical and neuropsychologist and the founder and chief executive officer of the Israel Healing Initiative. The daughter of a Holocaust survivor, she has spent three decades specializing in trauma treatment, combining advanced neurostimulation with psychological therapies to help survivors recover more effectively.
She is also the founder and director of Accelerated Psychology, a clinic in Beverly Hills, California, and a former associate professor of psychology at Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, where she oversaw graduate programs and served as acting chair.

Melissa Gentry, PsyD

Deborah Briggs, M.A.
Organizational Psychology M.A.
Dr. Melissa Gentry has a Ph.D. in applied clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has over a decade of clinical experience with a speciality in a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological issues. Dr. Gentry is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–Trauma Focused (CBT-TF) and clinical hypnotherapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She has an MA in clinical psychology from Antioch University.​
Deborah Briggs is a board member of Israel Healing Initiative. She has an M.A. in organizational psychology from Columbia University. Ms. Briggs has spent years developing effective systems for Fortune 100 companies, including Chase, ABC-TV and Citigroup. She moved into work with social impact, founding Gymboree and Huntington Learning Centers franchises in New York City and co-creating and supporting nonprofits including The Narrative Method in Los Angeles, Dancing Classrooms in Florida and the NormaLeah Initiative in Illinois.

Richard S. Adler, M.D., Forensic Trauma Psychiatrist
Dr. Richard S. Adler is a board-certified adult and child and adolescent psychiatrist who completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship and teaches at The University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.

Wes Center, Ph.D., LPC-S, BCN Chief Scientist
Dr. Wes Center is the president and clinical director of Brain and Behavior Associates and the chief science and technology Officer for OCAT Neurotech LLC.

Spencer Miller, M.D., Neurologist
Dr. Spencer Miller, a neurologist in Dallas, Tex., is the owner and Medical Director of Brain Treatment Center Dallas. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and has been in practice for 15 years.

Elkhonon Goldberg, Ph.D., Neuropsychologist and Cognitive Neuroscientist
Dr. Elkhonon Goldberg, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist and cognitive neuroscientist known for his work in hemispheric specialization and the “novelty-routinization” theory.

Yossi Ehrenreich, Ph.D., Psychologist and Chairperson, Israeli Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback
With nearly two decades as a psychologist, Dr. Yossi Ehrenreich supervises and mentors interns while teaching as an adjunct faculty at prestigious institutions in Israel. He founded and directs Ehrenreich Psychological Services, a psychological clinic in Modiin, Israel, and leads the Israeli Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback.

John LeMay, Ph.D., Applied Psychophysiology, Saybrook University, M.A. , Marriage and Family Therapy, Azusa Pacific University, Neurotherapy Expert
As an expert in neurotherapy, Dr. John LeMay specializes in various forms of biofeedback and neurostimulation, especially pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (pEMF), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). With a background in biofeedback, stress management and family therapy, he brings over 20 years of experience, often serving as a sought-after speaker and teacher in neuroscience and stress physiology.
​Throughout his career, Dr. LeMay has been instrumental in developing brain-computer interface technology, holding three patents with his mentor, Dr. George H. Green, based in Reno, Nevada. As a consultant, he collaborates with clinics nationwide, offering expertise in interpreting EEG and ERP data for symptom remediation and stress management.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. LeMay maintains a keen interest in theology, history and mathematics. When he is not teaching or consulting, he has his passion for surfing, a hobby that frequently takes him to beaches in California and Florida.

Clair Goldberg, Psy.D., BCN
Clair Goldberg, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist with over two decades of experience specializing in trauma, anxiety, and complex emotional challenges.
​Her clinical approach integrates advanced neurophysiological methods, including Attuned Neurofeedback and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), to support healing from profound shock, terror, and developmental trauma.​

​Mary Mulla-Yaman, Ph.D., Therapist and Educational Consultant
​Dr. Mary Mulla-Yaman, Ph.D., is a Druze therapist and educational consultant. After earning her doctorate from the University of Haifa, she founded the Sima Center in Yerka, Israel, Dr. Mulla-Yaman’s clinic offers an innovative blend of Western and Eastern psychological counseling techniques to assist a diverse Israeli clientele, including Druz, Jews, Muslims and Christians, during times of crisis. She is renowned for pioneering the Seesaw treatment approach, specifically designed to address anxiety and PTSD. Dr. Mulla-Yaman has served as the Special Education Supervisor in the North District for the Israeli Ministry of Education and held roles such as Student Dean, Practicum Director and Lecturer at Sakhin College. She is deeply engaged as a community activist, advocating for the empowerment of women and young leaders as agents of coexistence and peace. Fluent in Arabic, Hebrew and English, Dr. Mulla-Yaman is uniquely positioned to bridge cultural divides and facilitate healing in multiethnic environments.

Inga Keshishyan, Psy.D. Candidate, Neurotherapy Research Assistant
​Inga Keshishyan is a Doctor of Psychology candidate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She boasts a rich academic background, including a Master of Liberal Arts in extension studies in the field of Psychology from Harvard University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Woodbury University, with concentrations in Clinical Psychology and Research Psychology.

​Inga Keshishyan is a Doctor of Psychology candidate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She boasts a rich academic background, including a Master of Liberal Arts in extension studies in the field of Psychology from Harvard University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Woodbury University, with concentrations in Clinical Psychology and Research Psychology.

Laurie Goldberg, Public Relations Expert
Laurie Goldberg is President of LG Strategic Communications and a seasoned communications expert with a career leading communication strategies for powerhouse brands including CNN Worldwide, Discovery Channel and Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, alongside notable contributions to activist PR.

Asra Nomani, M.A., Chief Content Officer
Asra Q. Nomani is an accomplished author, journalist and former reporter for the Wall Street Journal. She is recognized globally for her insightful commentary and thought-provoking analysis across prominent media platforms, from NBC to CNN, Fox News, the Washington Post, BBC and others.
