Dr. Melissa Gentry

Dr. Melissa Gentry has a Ph.D. in applied clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has over a decade of clinical experience with a specialty in a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological issues. Dr. Gentry is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–Trauma Focused (CBT-TF) and Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She has an MA in clinical psychology from Antioch University. 

She specializes in anxiety-based disorders including PTSD, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, marital and relationship challenges, sexual concerns and addictions. 

She applies a versatile range of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Imago Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. Dr. Gentry also engages in Drama Therapy for Addiction training at the Drama

Therapy Institute (DTI).​
